On June 17th, Alex Herbst successfully defended his thesis. The fact that he wrote a cumulative thesis and was the first Guided Matter Waves Lab student to graduate made the day even more special.
Alex did seminal work on the use of tunable interactions in K-39 paired with time-averaged optical potentials. Can we interest you in his thesis? You’ll find it here!
